A nice colour photograph of the RANGITIKI, again
probably in New Zealand waters, here used for another postcard. This
is clearly a later (post-1948) photograph, as study of the vents, etc. on the boat deck
will attest.

Another very clear black
and white photograph postcard of the ship in its post-1948 configuration.
For a long time I believed that the vents, etc. mentioned on the left were
changed out during the 1957 refurbishment. The 1950 Passenger List has
clarified that this was not the case, that 1948 was probably the correct
date. Anyone being able to
