Passenger Lists Passenger Lists
were evidently handed to each passenger on the Company's vessels,
certainly between England and New Zealand and vice versa.
Each list was in fact contained in a neat little booklet which would have
provided the passengers with a very nice souvenir of their voyage. |

As can be seen from these pictures, the covers were black with writing in a pleasing shade of sky blue. The colour photograph of the Rangitiki on the 1932 and 1949 lists appear to be the same photograph, having faded somewhat on the older cover; similarly, the pictures on the 1950 and 1952 lists have been taken from the same photograph.. The back covers of these
booklets showed similar maps of the British Isles, two with the Isles coloured empire pink,
and two in a brownish
yellow. Only one of the four show the sea colored blue. |
