Longitude: An A & E production about John Harrison, an 18th C. clockmaker who created the chronometer and struggled for 40 years to claim the Longitude Prize and Rupert Gould, a WWI vet who found the original instrument and restored it.

Book:
Lions, Gorillas and their Neighbors by Carl and Mary L. Jobe Akeley. Published in 1932. This is a hard to find book and editions in better shape than mine are pricey because of scarcity. For those unfamiliar with Akeley, he was a renowned taxidermist.
